Keystone Sporting Arms has unveiled its latest offering for rimfire enthusiasts, the KSA2190 Overlander Pack Rifle chambered in .22LR. This single-shot bolt-action rifle is based on the reliable and straightforward Crickett action but comes with a range of innovative, modular features that make it ideal for use as a survival or pack rifle. In fact, it’s a rifle that The Rimfire Report is keen to review, as we have been exploring various types of rimfire survival rifles.

The rifle features a threaded bolt handle, threaded barrel, and drilled and tapped chassis, which are all desirable features on survival rifles. It has a sling stud mount on the underside of the chassis, but there’s no corresponding mount on the rear of the rifle’s stock, which features a carbon fiber storage tube. Keystone Sporting Arms is now accepting both wholesaler and dealer orders, and the rifle is expected to retail for around $379.

Keystone Sporting Arms is well-known for creating different types of rifles using the Crickett platform, from dedicated youth models to miniature replicas of Soviet bolt-action rifles. However, the KSA2190 Overlander Pack Rifle takes this to a new level by incorporating modern lightweight materials and a unique chassis that can be drilled and tapped to accept Crickett and Crickettinny Scope Mounts. This allows for a lot of customization right out of the box.
